cravings

I'm CRAVING something new. Something I don't get to shoot all the time. Something fresh. I don't talk about a couch in the field new (maybe if you add to it), I talk about personality, beauty (whatever that means), I want a challenge, some "one on one" time (or maybe two). Gimme hippie, gimme ghetto (nothing nude!!), gimme retro, gimme wrinkles, gimme model, gimme organic, real, fake, rich, poor, drama, funny, serious, elaborate, simple ... I DON'T KNOW!

Send me your idea. Best idea wins a shoot (portrait or couple only... and the only thing i ask for is traveling fee, if further than 10miles from chino). I'll give you a whole MONTH to think about it.
Ideas to lydia@lydiatolman.com

Winner will be picked and notified September 1, 2011

Thanks!

Emily the overly-educated

Before she moved to NY she used to do my hair. We laugh together. A LOT. She's pretty. Pretty fun, I would say ;) And pretty pretty too! Emily, we have to do that again! SOON!

Liz the Sexy Lady

I don't think I need to add anything here.

The Twin Girls

The first shot is probably my favorite baby-shoot I ever took. Who does not like baby feet and diaper bums... ;)

The Trask Family

Last week I got to shoot one of my friends extended family. Look at all those little kids - a challenge to make them look at me, but so cute when they actually do!

Alan and Laura Married!

I've known Laura for a really long time and was so excited to be there to shoot this special day for her and her husband. Congratulations! (PS: this is a new one, no old blogging today ;)
I loved the fact that she wore her cowboy (girl) boots under her dress. And also, I loved the colorful bouquet.
I'm so excited for the two of them!

What a family!

You rarely see this big of a family setting captured on a blog. Just wanted you all to know that I do enjoy the big, loud, noisy shoots too ;)
Can you even count how many people belong in this family? ;)

Heidi

Heidi, my friend. Over the past few years I've not only seen her at church often, I also got the chance to shoot her three times! THREE! while between the first and second shoot she has lots a LOL of weight and has since then kept it off. I'm so proud of her and wish I could follow her footstep! You're so pretty, Heid!
