Catalina Island

It's been a hectic year for our family. My husband has been working on his CPA exams and is constantly busy studying.
We have not been able to go on a real vacation in a while. Well, we did go camping for a few days, but honestly, as much as i love that, i miss REAL vacationing ;0)
We'll have to wait a little longer, especially with another baby on the way and the last CPA exam coming up... so in the mean time, we will try to get another few day trips done.
Yesterday was one of those trips. We went to Catalina Island. I can not even express how good it felt. Just the four (and a half) of us. No stress, no deadlines... a whole day uninterrupted family time! :)

Be prepared for a picture overload!! I think i'm going to live off this one day memory for the next two months. I feel beyond blessed to have such a wonderful husband and such funny, cute kids!

As a special activity we went in this Submarine thing. It's not quiet a real submarine of course, but you are under the water and the fish can be viewed through the round windows. The boys loved it. I did too, since I'm too chicken to snorkel!

Mexican food for lunch... the boys love chips. But Max made clear that the red ones are not tasty. Hahaha.
